Story 

It was the final and most important day of the seminar and Moira was excited to share her recent path-breaking discovery. From the podium, she scanned the room filled with eminent journalists, peers and thought leaders. Just then, her eyes locked with those of an elderly woman. Almost instantly, Moira recognised the thin smile, the tight (now icy white) bun and the keen eyes hidden behind thick lenses. As Moira began presenting, she keenly listened to every word and, although her calm demeanour belied it, her eyes were misted over with tears of pride. As the auditorium reverberated with thunderous applause, those tears were all the encouragement Moira needed. Her first schoolteacher had been her strongest supporter and today, she was the proudest of Moira.
